Long Island, NY – Three Hurt in Car Crash on Peninsula Ave at Eagle Ave
Long Island, NY (November 5, 2023) – A crash in Rockville Centre left multiple people injured on Friday evening, November 3. At around 9:30 p.m., the Nassau County Police Department responded to the scene of an accident that occurred on Peninsula Avenue.
According to local law enforcement, a Nassau County police vehicle was stopped to provide assistance to a vehicle that was blocking the right lane of travel. The police patrol vehicle had its emergency lights activated in the area of Peninsula Avenue, just south of Eagle Avenue.
For unknown reasons, a 2021 Nissan Sentra driven by a 47-year-old woman crashed into the rear of the vehicle.
Three people sustained injuries as a result of the crash. All of the victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency medical care.
The incident is being investigated by the police.
