Queens, NY – Crash with Entrapment Reported at Woodhaven Blvd & Long Island Expressway
Queens, NY (October 1, 2023) – The New York Police Department and firefighters were dispatched to assist on-site at a crash that occurred in the Elmhurst area. The accident took place at around 4:50 a.m. on September 30.
According to NYPD reports, multiple vehicles collided on Woodhaven Boulevard in the area of the Long Island Expressway.
Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and closed off multiple lanes of the road.
One person was trapped inside of their vehicle. Firefighters worked to remove the trapped victim.
Emergency medical services provided care to the injured parties and transported them to local hospitals.
The accident is currently being investigated.
