Queens, NY – Motorcyclist Killed in MTA Bus Crash on Astoria Blvd near 101st St
Queens, NY (October 12, 2023) – A 16-year-old male has died as a result of a motorcycle collision that was reported in the East Elmhurst neighborhood on Tuesday evening.
On October 10, officers with the New York Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Astoria Boulevard at around 11:00 p.m.
Reports show that a motorcyclist and an MTA bus collided on Astoria Boulevard near the intersection of 101st Street. The bus was turning at the time of the accident when the two vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist, a 16-year-old boy, suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The New York police department is conducting an investigation to determine what caused the accident to occur.
