Queens, NY – Multi-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on Woodhaven Blvd & Long Island Expressway
Queens, NY (October 10, 2023) – Officers with the New York Police Department were summoned to assist on-site at a motor vehicle accident in the Elmhurst area that ended in injuries.
At around 6:10 a.m. on October 10, calls for assistance came in regarding an automobile collision on Woodhaven Boulevard.
According to NYPD reports, multiple vehicles collided on the roadway near Long Island Expressway. The incident prompted the police and firefighters with the New York Fire Department to shut down a portion of the road as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles.
Injuries were reported as a result of this collision. At least one person was transported by ambulance to a local medical facility, where they were provided care.
NYPD is actively investigating the collision.
