Valley Stream, NY (August 30, 2023) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a car crash that occurred in Valley Stream on Tuesday, August 29.

At around 12:45 p.m., the Nassau Police and area firefighters responded to a crash that took place near 41 Merrick Road.

Reports from authorities show that a 74-year-old man was driving a white 2020 Toyota Sienna when he crashed into the back side of the All Kids Pediatrics building. Authorities believe that the man may have lost control of his vehicle while he was trying to park behind the structure.

One worker in the facility was injured. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical care.

The incident is being investigated at this time.
