Queens, NY – Teen Killed in Fatal Car Accident on Belt Pkwy
Queens, NY (January 30, 2023) – A teenager was killed in a fatal car accident that took place on a highway in Queens on the evening of Sunday, January 29.
According to New York State Police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Belt Parkway around the area of Farmers Boulevard. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling in the area at a high speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash and sustain severe damages.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. Paramedics found that a 15-year-old male passenger inside the vehicle was thrown from the vehicle. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries.
