Long Island, NY – Three Killed, Five Injured in Sunrise Highway Crash
Long Island, NY (August 7, 2023) – Several victims have lost their lives as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Long Island on Sunday, August 6.
The accident was reported to the Nassau County Police Department at around 7:20 p.m.
Police reports indicate that a collision involving a speeding vehicle took place on Sunrise Highway. The vehicle crashed into three other vehicles on the road near a shopping center.
Three people were pronounced deceased as a result of their injuries. Five other victims were injured. The victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. Two of the victims were in critical condition at the time that they were admitted.
