Queens, NY – Man Fatally Struck by MTA Bus on 89th Ave
Queens, NY (August 8, 2023) – An 18-year-old man has died as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in the Jamaica section of Queens.
The accident was reported on Monday evening, August 7.
New York Police Department reports indicate that an MTA bus was traveling on 89th Avenue when it collided with an 18-year-old who was riding a scooter near the intersection of 168th Street.
The pedestrian was severely hurt in the accident. The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries. No other injuries were reported.
