Queens, NY – Two Teens Injured in Scooter Crash at 47th St & Northern Blvd
Queens, NY (March 9, 2023) – Around 7:40 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, March 8, two teens were hurt in a scooter accident in Queens.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of 47th Street and Northern Boulevard. Police confirmed that two teens were on a scooter headed through the intersection. At the same time, a driver in a passenger vehicle started to make a left turn and struck the scooter. The driver who struck the scooter remained on the scene following the accident.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene after the accident. Both the teens on the scooter sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries. They have both since been reported in stable condition.
