Queens, NY (May 27, 2023) – Injuries stemmed from a pedestrian crash that took place at an intersection in Queens on the evening of Saturday, May 27.

According to Queens Police, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 34th Avenue and 81st Street. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was walking across the street at the intersection when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.

Several emergency responders, including EMS crews, were immediately called to the scene to help the injured pedestrian. The victim, who has not yet been formally identified, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Their current condition is not yet known.
