Queens, NY (June 14, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Queens on the evening of Wednesday, June 14.

According to Queens Police, the accident happened after 6:25 p.m. at the intersection of 155th Avenue and 153rd Avenue. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they simultaneously entered the intersection, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Queens responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries in the collision. The parties were treated on scene by EMS crews and were then rushed to the hospital for further treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.

A large portion of the roadway was blocked for some time after the collision. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
