Queens, NY – Auto Collision with Injuries Reported on Van Wyck Expressway near Long Island Expressway

Queens, NY (October 17, 2023) – On October 16, officers with the New York Police Department were called to the scene of a crash in the Flushing Meadows Corona Park neighborhood.
NYPD crash reports indicate that at around 9:05 a.m., a collision between vehicles occurred on Van Wyck Expressway. NYPD assisted the New York Fire Department at the scene as they closed off the roadway near the Long Island Expressway.
Medical personnel reported to the site of the crash to care for those harmed and provided them with transportation to local hospitals.
