Queens, NY – Bicycle Accident with Injuries at 14th Rd & Clintonville St
Queens, NY (June 29, 2023) – A bicycle accident with injuries took place at a Queens intersection on the night of Wednesday, June 28.
According to Queens Police, the accident happened around 8:24 p.m. at the intersection of 14th Road and Clintonville Street. Police confirmed that a bicyclist was riding in the area when they were suddenly struck by the driver of a silver passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene after the accident.
Several Queens responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The bicyclist, who has not yet been identified, was hurt in the accident. The victim sustained an injury on their forearm and was hospitalized. Their current condition is not yet known.
A portion of the roadway was blocked at the intersection as police worked to clear the scene.
