Queens, NY (February 17, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Queens on the night of Thursday, February 16.

According to Queens officials, the accident happened around 9:48 p.m. at the intersection of Grand Central Parkway and Long Island Expressway. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their current conditions are not entirely known.

Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked at the intersection. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.

We would like to take this time to offer our warmest sympathies to the parties who have sustained injuries in this accident.
