Queens, NY (October 2, 2023) – A pedestrian crash in the Ozone Park section of Queens sent one person to an area hospital with injuries.
At around 7:50 p.m. on October 1, officers with the New York Police Department were called to the scene of an automobile collision that took place on 109th Avenue.
According to official reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the roadway Rockaway Boulevard. The incident resulted in the police and firefighters shutting down a portion of the intersection as they responded to provide assistance.
The pedestrian was injured as a result of the crash and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
