Queens, NY (April 18, 2023) – Two people sustained injuries in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Queens on the evening of Monday, April 17.

According to Queens Police, the accident happened around 6:42 p.m. at the intersection of Linden Boulevard and South Conduit Avenue. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A total of two people were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated by fire crews. The victims were then hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time after the collision. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
