Queens, NY – Two Injured in Truck Crash at Long Island Expy & Brooklyn-Queens Expy
Queens, NY (June 21, 2023) – Two people were injured in a truck accident that took place at an intersection in Queens on the evening of Wednesday, June 21.
According to Queens officials, the accident happened around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Long Island Expressway and Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Police confirmed that an 18-wheeler was traveling in the area when it was involved in a collision with a black Lexus due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles sustained damages in the accident.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident, though they have not yet been formally identified. The victims were rushed to the hospital by ambulances for unknown injuries.
