Queens, NY (August 28, 2023) – Officers with the New York Police Department and local firefighters were called to a crash in the Oakland Gardens on Sunday afternoon that ended in injuries.
The collision was reported to NYPD at around 3:50 p.m. on August 27.
According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area of 209-10 Union Turnpike. The incident blocked several lanes, prompting officials to shut down the road as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles.
